Vintage Crochet

Happy Friday everyone!

Although I had a few problems with the last poll, in the end we've found a winner for this month's theme-party, and it's Vintage Crochet!
Everywhere you look, you can find vintage stuff on the internet: vintage clothes, vintage furniture, vintage cars, and more. But - what does vintage mean, actually? Searching in the online dictionaries, I've found lots of definitions in connection with wine. Other than that, Dictionary.com describes the adjective "vintage" as  "representing the high quality of a past time", "old-fashioned or obsolete", and "being the best of its kind".
When I think about Vintage Crochet, I imagine an old family heirloom or flea market find, a new item that has the look of "days of old", or something you've made using an old or traditional pattern (a good source for that is Free Vintage Crochet).
Anyway, I'm looking forward to your definition of Vintage Crochet!

Some things you should keep in mind:
What you see is what you get: please link to the specific post where your chosen project can be found (not just your main blog address), and make sure that your post is about crochet and matches the given theme! No shops! Please understand that I might remove links that ignore these points.
Feel free to post as many links as you like - you should really search in the depths of your archives to retrieve your forgotten treasures, this is your chance to bring them back to the surface! :)
You're welcome to vote for your favorite topic (the poll is right below this post). If you've got ideas for new topics, or if you'd like to see one of the previous topics back on the list again, please leave a comment!
